Perhaps the best kept secret in Exeter is our cozy cellar bar with an altogether different feel to the upstairs bar.

Down here underground in a bar that’s partially built of the original Roman City Wall we show live music and host special events.

The cellar bar is a perfect party venue totally self contained with its own entrance and toilets separating it from the rest of the hotel and bar above. Very atmospheric with candlelight tables and vaulted ceilings it also has its own disco / dancing area. Suitable for up to 100 people it is the perfect place for your special occasion and is of course available for private hire.
